Yes these drawings are different from the picture shown on home page. That one was made with existing hutch top. Of course you don't have that hutch top so these drawings show the possibilities of building the hutch top from scrach. These pictures of the bedside hutch are shown with
alternate leg configurations. I would categorize this as medium
difficulty not including the doors. If you make the doors yourself
it becomes a more difficult project because you have to have the
tools the make raised panel doors. You of course can have the doors
made to your specifications which would add cost to the project. Or
you could buy standard doors from home supply store and adjust the
plans to fit the door size you purchase.
The basic construction uses plywood panels and solid wood for
face frame and moldings. |
